What are some effective recruitment methods that you fellows employ? We are trying to grow a new pvp guild and I'm just not sure where to begin.....

You say when you *tried* to build your own guild, which leads me to believe that the attempt may have failed. We are looking for people who are primarily in this game for the PvP aspect. (I myself, an avid RPer, have moved away from the PvE side.) We have a bone to pick and we want it picked clean, get my drift?

and yes i built my own guild
but still i disbanded within 3 weeks
cause it sucked
but turned out i had over 10 players who are rank 3.... lol
well if ur recruiting
go to tombs PvP
and do alot of pugging
if u see a good person in ur team
invite him if he is intrested
thats pretty much how a good guild was made
on a very long HoH Holding time
best way i prefer is
PvP -> Pugs -> New Friends -> New Guild Members

Umm, if you need to ask how to recruit people for a guild, then I'm really not too sure how well your guild is going to work out.

I'm simply asking people what methods work for them. I know how I was orginally recruited, which obviously worked. There is more than one way of doing something scrawny, and I am not opposed to benefitting from the wisdom and experience of other players.

Divine,

Your ads were short and to the point, which I like. I usually play with folks 2-3 rounds before I ask them if they'd like to join. I do know that I will not be doing any blind inviting, as I find it very rude when people would do that to me.

You should just join teams, go play with them in the Primeval of Kings, look for guildless people. And invite them if he/she got the requirements you need him/her to have.

If you don't care about how skilled they are, just run around in Pre-Searing and spam and don't care about the fact you are really annoying.

yes as stated above tombs is your friend, dont advertise while ppl are forming groups, but get a group and show them that you are a compitent group of people and it can sway them to join your guild *you gotta be good tho too* :P

Well, after taking a bit from here and there, I believe we have a group that has some potential in it. It will be nice to see which of our new members will gel and stay.
